CONGRATULATIONS to Gordon Brown who received his Master of Divinity degree at the 169th Convocation of Knox College on Wed. May 8th.   Gordon also received the Walter W. Bryden Prize (Church History), the Gordon Mortimer Clark Prize (Philosophy and Ethics) and the Rupal Prize (Christian Ethics).



Sat. June 1 - Plant sale from 10 am to 1 pm at the church. Variety of plants for sale, vegetables as well as annual and perennial flowers. If anyone has plants to donate please bring them to the church. BBQ lunch will be available.



Sun. June 2 - Sacrament of the Lord’s Supper. Coffee Hour Cancelled.

   Thurs. June 27 - Invitation from Camp Kintail to attend “Cake By The Lake"  This will be the June Presbyterial Meeting.  Please let Connie know before June 17th if you plan to attend.

To-day - 3 p.m. Memorial Service at North Buxton Community Church. Guest  Speaker Rev. Caroline Dungy & Choir from the Parkwood Gospel Temple Church.  Special Music   Mr. Earl Prince, Mrs. Carrie |Tatsu, Mr. Brandon Shadd.  Come Out to honour and Remember.  |Come  and join us for refreshments and fellowship after the service at the Church Hall.      



      Sat. May 25 - Comber and area 11th Annual Town Wide Yard Sale 8:00 a.m. to ??? Yard Sale location maps will be available by Wed. May 22nd after 5 p.m. at various businesses in Comber.  Comber St. United Church will have Baked Goods, Hot Dogs, & Beverage, as well as “New to You” Items available for Sale.



Sun. May 26 - Merlin United Church presents “Mercy”, Three Hearts, One Voice at 7:30 pm. Come join us on this special night. Free will offering.  Refreshments to follow. For more information you can contact Larry Atkinson 519-689-4935.

May 26 - Mount Zion Presbyterian Church, Ridgetown celebrates their 159th anniversary and they present THE BLAZING FIDDLES at 7:30 p.m. This talented musical group will entertain you with an amazing variety of fiddle tunes, a medley of classical violin and popular show songs. Free will offering. Refreshments. Everyone welcome.
